DAIS believes that a world free from violence is possible. They work to make Dane County, WI, a safer, more just, more equitable place for people who have experienced domestic violence, their children, and the people who love them.
DAIS has been working for almost 50 years to make Dane County, WI, a safer, more just, more equitable place for people who have experienced domestic violence, their children, and the people who love them.
DAIS strives to empower those affected by domestic violence by advocating for social change through support, education, and outreach. They offer a wide array of crisis intervention and community education/prevention programs, including a 24-hour Help Line, programming for children from violent homes, legal advocacy, support groups, and emergency safety planning. DAIS is also the only domestic violence shelter in all of Dane County.

Silent Auction– have fun bidding on a wide selection of items during our Silent Auction – all proceeds to DAIS. We already have commitments to provide some fun items and experiences.
50-50 raffle– purchase raffle tickets for this ever-popular event -50% of monies raised to DAIS and 50% to the holder of the winning ticket.
Gift Card Extravaganza– purchase a ticket for $20 and win a gift card of equal or much higher value…it’s a win-win proposal for this inaugural event.
